Of all the ridiculous ideas that have popped into my head this one comes out top. The aim was, with my friend Russ, to paddle the length of Bangladesh.

The route was fairly simple; start on the Teesta in the north, which would bring us to the Brahmaputra followed by the Padma. From the Padma it would be a tiny section on the humongous Meghna before paddling the length of the Tetulia which would bring us out at the Bay of Bengal. As you can see from the map this didn’t quite happen but to find out what did you can read the information pages below.

Each page is a brief synopsis of the rivers paddled: the highs, the lows and a few photographs/videos . It is impossible to do justice to the people that helped me or the memories made, so I haven’t tried. Instead hopefully the photographs speak for themselves, and in some small way you can get a snapshot into what it was like.
